Docseal

Pilot Pack

Scope a Docseal pilot with a bank or document issuer.

Docseal enables an issuing organization to make official documents verifiable after circulation, without exposing document content.

Recommended scope

A pilot should stay focused: one issuer, one document type, one verification flow, one hash-only mode.

Suitable documents

Bank statements, account certificates, proof of funds, insurance certificates or sensitive official documents.

Pilot objective

Demonstrate that a third party can distinguish an authentic file from a modified file in seconds.

Pilot flow

  1. The issuer computes the document SHA-256 hash.
  2. Docseal creates a Seal ID and receipt.
  3. The document circulates normally as a PDF.
  4. The verifier selects the received file.
  5. Docseal compares the received hash with the sealed record.
  6. Result: Authentic, Tampered, Revoked, Replaced or Expired.

Deliverables

  • Registry record
  • Verify page
  • Issuer API
  • Gateway Local
  • Receipt JSON
  • Trust status events

Issuer preparation

  • Selected document type
  • Approximate volume
  • Confidentiality constraints
  • Technical contact
  • Success criteria

Indicative timeline

A focused pilot can be scoped over 4 to 6 weeks depending on integration and security constraints.

Positioning

Docseal is not a qualified electronic signature product. It is a document authenticity and integrity verification infrastructure that can coexist with existing signatures, seals and trust services.
